Q. What is Energist Ultra VPL?
A. VPL (Variable Pulsed Light) is a proven technology that is safe, virtually painless, hygienic and unlike other methods does not involve physical penetration of the skin.
Q. How does it work?
A. The light from the applicator is absorbed by the melanin in the hair which heats up and disables the follicle, preventing it from growing back.
Q. What areas can be treated?
A. Face, underarms, chest, legs, back and bikini areas can all be successfully treated.
Q. What hairs cannot be treated?
A. Hairs which are not in the growth stage. Blonde and grey hairs are more difficult and may not be able to be treated.
Q. When will I see the results?
A. Everyone is different but results are usually noticed about a week after your first treatment.
Q. How often will I need treating?
A. After your initial treatment you will need another treatment 4 to 6 weeks after. After each treatment the hair grows more slowly, less dense and noticeably thinner. A course of 4 treatments will usually produce fabulous results.
